Job Description Job Description Salary: Up to $100k (DOE) Anyon Interior Design is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Design Assistant to join our team. The role is technically focused, supporting the Design Studio in the preparation of design drawings, documentation and client presentations. We are looking for candidates who thrive in a fast paced and highly collaborative environment. The right candidate has a high level of organizational skills and a strong knowledge base of space planning and interior design drawings. The role is full time working from a hybrid schedule that includes 3 to 4 days per week in the San Francisco Design Studio. Key responsibilities - Assist and collaborate with the Design Team in the production of interior design drawings, mood boards and photographing material palettes - Actively participate in the preparation of complete documentation to meet client program, company standards and project budget constraints - Draft floor plans, elevations and render presentation drawings - Create schedules for plumbing, hardware, finishes, floor/window treatments and lighting - Research new products, materials and finishes - Responsible for organization of project folders and ensure digital filing system is maintained - Support the Design Team with project record keeping during construction phase - Set up furniture blocks in AutoCAD & manage CAD template library - Studio organization, maintain the firm’s materials library, return samples to vendors - Occasional project related errands for Designers and Principal - Assist Design & Operations teams with answering phones, filing, copying, and preparing for Studio for Client meetings - Help keep the Design Studio neat and tidy Qualifications - Degree in Interior Design and/or Architecture from an accredited 4 year + program - High proficiency in AutoCAD, particularly in the set-up and execution of drawing sets - Proficiency in Bluebeam, Adobe Creative Suite and Google Suite - Experienced with Asana (or other project-management software) and Studio Designer - Must be able to create construction documents, section details, 2D renderings - Experience with quotes, proposals, budgets, purchase orders and purchasing process - Must be able to work independently, take initiative and ownership of all tasks - Meets deadlines, achieves goals, ensures accuracy of all work produced - Detail oriented and thorough, and communicates effectively with all team members - Takes personal responsibility for the continuous learning of new knowledge and skills - Positive, solution-oriented attitude, collaborative, flexible and self-motivated Anyon LLC. is an equal opportunity employer committed to creating a diverse workforce.
